ABOUT US

Welcome To Chadash

Chadash Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit organization formally established in 2018, with the sole objective of alleviating the plight of vulnerable Widows and orphans in the society. The aim is to promote their welfare and economically empower the disadvantaged widows and orphans.

Our primary goal is to rekindle hope of the less privileged Widows and Orphans in the society. We understand it is difficult to do life alone when you are disadvantaged, and this informs our mode of operation at Chadash. We do not offer one-time benefits and fade into the background; instead, we provide
Widows and Orphans with sustainable solutions to help them live happily in the society. While we do not offer scholarship programs, we work tirelessly to achieve our vision by hosting expert-handled vocational trainings, provide start-up support to begin their newly learned skills, mentorship, just to mention a few.

Over the years, Chadash has enjoyed significant growth in economically empowering Widows and Orphans in Nigeria. Since our establishment, we have empowered over 10,000 Widows and supported about 30 orphanage homes by providing portable water boreholes, donating cash gifts and food items, and equipping them with educational materials to facilitate their learning.

Guided by its vision to rekindle the hope of Widows and Orphans, Chadash Foundation implemented key initiatives like the maiden edition of annual International Widows Day celebration and World Orphans Day. As our logo suggests, you are not alone – we will hold your hands while protecting your
fundamental human rights and offer you the required skill set to earn a living until you can stand on your own
